High-tensile polymeric grids designed for soil stabilization, base reinforcement, and retaining wall earth retention.
Geogrids are high-strength polymeric grid structures (Biaxial for subgrade stabilization and Uniaxial for retaining wall reinforcement) manufactured from polyester, polypropylene, or HDPE. The open grid aperture interlocks with aggregate soil particles, transferring tensile stresses and locking the soil matrix in place to prevent deformation and movement.
| Grid Orientation | Biaxial (2-Way Load) & Uniaxial (1-Way High Load) |
|---|---|
| Tensile Strength | 20 kN/m to 400 kN/m ultimate tensile capacity |
| Aperture Size | Uniform aperture geometry for stone interlocking |
| Creep Resistance | Low long-term creep strain under constant design loads |
| Applications | MSE Retaining Walls, Road Base Stabilization, Subgrade Improvement |
Used to accelerate consolidation of soft compressible soils in embankment construction and infrastructure works.
